Apple iOS Beta Installation Instructions

1) Watch for your TestFlight invite email

After you’re approved for the beta, Apple will send you an email invitation with a button/link like “View in TestFlight.”

*** IMPORTANT *** Please open this email and complete installation on the iPhone you plan to use for Pistol Boundaries (phone-only beta; tablets and web not supported).

• If you don’t see it, check Spam and Promotions (or “Updates”) folders.

• If it still doesn’t show up, you can still install TestFlight manually (next step).

  
  

2) Install Apple TestFlight

TestFlight is Apple’s official beta-testing app.

1. Open the App Store

2. Search for TestFlight

3. Install TestFlight (free)

   
   

3) Install Pistol Boundaries from TestFlight

1. Tap the “View in TestFlight” button in Apple’s invite email
   (or open the TestFlight app and follow the prompt)

2. In TestFlight, find Pistol Boundaries

3. Tap Install

   
   

4) Open Pistol Boundaries, grant phone permissions, and complete onboarding

1. Open Pistol Boundaries

2. Follow the on-screen steps to sign up and complete onboarding

3. When you reach the plan selection screen, choose the Plus plan to gain access to all current features without ads

When prompted, please allow:

• Location Access: there are 2 steps … first choose to allow access while using the app, and then choose Always Allow and Precise Location

• Motion & Fitness: choose Allow so that alerts work properly

• Notifications: choose Allow so that alerts are sent to your phone

If you accidentally chose “Don’t Allow,” you can fix it:

• Go to Settings → Apps → Pistol Boundaries

• Set Location to Always and Precise = On

• Turn Motion & Fitness On

• Turn Notifications On
